IRCC issues ITAs in the latest Canadian Experience Class draw, i.e., Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued a large number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system.

The department issued 6,000 ITAs in a draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.

To be considered in this draw, candidates needed to have

  • A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 509
  • Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 4:35 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on October 29, 2025

Today’s draw is the third draw of the year and the second largest CEC draw in 2026.

In just the first month of the year, IRCC has already issued 14,000 ITAs to CEC candidates across two Express Entry draws. These large draws have led to major changes in the makeup of the Express Entry pool.

CEC draws in 2026 have also seen some of the lowest CRS cut-off scores in recent times. Both today’s draw and the previous CEC draw recorded the lowest cut-off scores since September 2024.

So far in 2026, Express Entry draws have focused only on candidates already in Canada, especially those with provincial nominations and Canadian work experience.
