Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has issued another round of invitations through the Express Entry system.

The latest draw invited 2,000 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

To qualify for this draw, candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System score of at least 518. They also needed to have created their Express Entry profile before 8:48 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time on February 13, 2026.

Candidates who received an invitation can now submit their permanent residence application to the federal government. The Canadian Experience Class is designed for skilled workers who have gained eligible work experience in Canada and want to become permanent residents.

Foreign nationals already living in Canada may also have access to a bridging open work permit after submitting their permanent residence application through Express Entry.

If an existing work permit expires while an eligible candidate is waiting for the new permit application to be finalized, the person may continue working under maintained status, provided the required conditions are met and the person remains in Canada.

Eligible family members may also qualify for an open work permit.
