The latest draw shows that Canada continues to use Express Entry to select candidates who can support labour market needs across the country. Provincial Nominee Program candidates remain an important part of this strategy, as provinces continue to nominate skilled workers who meet their local economic and workforce priorities.
Moreover, candidates with a provincial nomination receive additional Comprehensive Ranking System points, which significantly improves their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent residence through Express Entry. As Canada continues to hold regular draws throughout the year, eligible candidates can expect more opportunities under different Express Entry categories.
