New Brunswick issues invitations to PNP applicants, i.e., between October 6 and 9, the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NB PNP) conducted three separate draws and invited more than 500 skilled workers to apply for provincial nomination.
The invitations were issued through two key streams: the New Brunswick Express Entry stream for candidates already working in the province, and the Skilled Worker stream targeting individuals employed in priority sectors such as healthcare, education, community services, and construction.
Summary Of New Brunswick October Draws
In total, 522 invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued across the two streams.
The province set October 5, 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time as the cut-off date and time for submitted applications.
It also clarified that not all applications from these draws will be processed before the end of 2025.
No specific cut-off scores were shared for any of the draws.

- Have at least 12 months of full-time work experience in a TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupation in the province.
- Have lived in New Brunswick continuously for the past 12 months.
Note: TEER refers to the Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities classification system used by the Canadian government to group occupations based on their skill level and education requirements.

For the New Brunswick Graduates pathway, candidates must:

New Brunswick Draws In 2025
So far in 2025, New Brunswick has issued 3,589 invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
Earlier in February, the province was allotted 1,500 nomination spots for its PNP. By June, it successfully negotiated an additional 1,500 spots, bringing its total nomination allocation for 2025 to 3,000.
The number of invitations is generally higher than the actual nomination target to account for candidates who withdraw, decline, or don’t meet program requirements.
Additionally, processing times for both the provincial nomination and federal permanent residence applications mean that many invitations issued in 2025 may contribute to Canada’s landing targets in 2026.
Next Steps After Receiving An Invitation
Once a candidate receives an invitation to apply, they must submit their application to the New Brunswick provincial government.
If their application meets all eligibility requirements, the province will issue a nomination certificate.
This nomination allows the candidate to apply to the federal government for permanent residence (PR), significantly increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply through the federal system.
New Brunswick continues to actively welcome skilled workers to address its labour market needs. These PNP draws offer a valuable pathway to permanent residency for eligible foreign nationals who have built ties to the province through work and study.
