Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has sent more invitations to apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system.

In the latest round, 279 ITAs were issued to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

To qualify for this draw, candidates needed:

  • A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 789
  • Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 12:59 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on September 5, 2025

This draw is the seventh Express Entry round held in 2026. It is also the fourth draw this year that focused on Provincial Nominee Program candidates.

So far in 2026, Express Entry draws have mainly targeted candidates already living in Canada. Most invitations have gone to those with provincial nominations or Canadian work experience.
