Three Canadian provinces have invited applicants for PNP draws this week. All Canadian territories & provinces with PNPs except Nunavut and Quebec have PNP programs that target applicants who can help the country reach economic goals, like easing labor shortages. In addition, many programs also have targeted French-speaking newcomers who can help increase the significance of French outside Quebec.

These streams and programs represent the recently declared updates regarding the Federal Express Entry System. On May 31, the region declared eligible applicants for category-based selection will be invited to the forthcoming draws this year. Until the categories were introduced, Express Entry applicants were invited based on the CRS scores. In the present scenario, having prior work experience in a selected profession can be advantageous.

In addition to inviting applicants for PNP draws, those who receive Provincial nominations must still apply separately to IRCC for permanent accommodation.
