PEI focuses on international grads in a new PNP draw, i.e., on February 19, 2026, Prince Edward Island conducted its latest draw under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP), following the province’s planned Invitation to Apply (ITA) timeline.
Similar to earlier rounds this year, the province continued to prioritize candidates who have strong connections to Prince Edward Island and whose work aligns with sectors that support the local economy. In this draw, special attention was again given to international graduates from selected designated learning institutions (DLIs).
Draw Results
Prince Edward Island’s most recent draw issued invitations to 109 provincial nominee candidates through its Labour Impact and Express Entry pathways.
The province stated that invitations were mainly sent to individuals working in occupations and priority sectors that bring clear economic value to the province. According to the PEI Office of Immigration, these sectors include healthcare, skilled trades, manufacturing, and other important industries currently facing worker shortages.
International graduates from the following DLIs were further prioritized in this draw:
- University of Prince Edward Island
- Holland College
- Collège de l’Île
At the same time, the province indicated that candidates working in the sales and service sector may not receive invitations right now.

How PEI’s Workforce Program Selector Tool Can Help?
Newcomers interested in provincial immigration options in Prince Edward Island can begin by using the Workforce Program Selector Tool.
This tool works like a short survey that helps guide candidates toward the PEI workforce streams they may qualify for under current program rules. To generate results, the tool asks users questions related to their:
- Age
- Education
- Work Experience
- Current job offers (if applicable)
PEI notes that the tool is only meant to provide general guidance. It offers a quick way for candidates to understand which pathway may suit their profile before taking the next step.
The province recommends the following practical approach for newcomers:
- Complete the selector to see which Workforce pathways match your profile; then
- Review the official requirements in PEI’s Workforce Application Guide for full instructions and program criteria before you submit an EOI or application.
